Not heard anything about and appointment for flu vaccine yet. Currently off work suffering. Scared to take medication in case I shouldn’t. Should I co tact doctor? I haven’t even had a midwife

How far along are you?

Not take medication until you've checked with GP or midwife or pharmacist

Only watch out for fever..otherwise rest and wait until its better... can't do much really... candies if sore throat , honey,lemon...

If you have a high temperature that can harm baby, and it's better to bring it down. Paracetamol is generally considered safe in pregnancy, but speak to your GP or ring 111 to double check.

You can take paracetamol in pregnancy. I would check with a GP or midwife before taking anything else.

How far along are you? It's normal to have your first midwife appointment at 8-10 weeks, and a scan at 12 weeks. You should see the heartbeat at the scan. They don't check for a heartbeat any earlier unless there are concerns (eg pain, bleeding), and the check would be done by ultrasound.
