BBT in pregnancy

Ladies,
Did you stop measuring your BBT after getting your BFP? I got my positive test 10 days ago, but I continued temping (I'm 5 weeks+5days).
I think I'm starting to obsess about it a little because I'm worried about a miscarriage, and every lower temperature (still about coverline) is causing me stress. But at the same time, I want to know if something isn't right...does the pattern of the temperatures matter or am I overcomplicating it?
Thanks

You’re over complicating it, I stopped after I got a positive test just because I didn’t feel the need any more. I know some people carry on but if you’re stressing I wouldn’t do it. It’s not going to tell you anything. I’d just keep positive, everything will be fine 🤍

@MamikH I got my bfp last week and I've still been temping and wondering when to stop. I have extremely high anxiety due to a previous loss so I think I might just continue until I feel ready to stop.

Congrats on your positive 🥰

Thank you both 💝 i think I'm starting to recognise that it's doing me more harm than good so I'll stop and will start trusting my body more! Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi @MamikH, I did the same thing with pregnancy tests. I just kept taking 4 each day long after I'd gotten my bfp.

Posted about it and was made to see how unhealthy it is. It stresses you and it's pointless because what will happen, will happen. It does not control anything.

I stopped as soon as I got my BFP. Mostly because the app I was using to track it (fertility friend) recommended stopping. I also knew it would do me no good to stress over it. I stopped tracking my resting heart rate on my Fitbit for the first months of pregnancy too for the same reason. Turns out when I turned my heart rate tracker back on, it hadn't changed in the slightest and still on the same average as when TTC.
