Morning Sickness Has Disappeared…

Hi all,

This is my first pregnancy and I am a big worrier so please forgive me if this is a non-issue.

I am currently 8 and a half weeks pregnant. From about 5-8 weeks, I had nausea every day (it was pretty bad in the evenings but there were waves of nausea in the day, too) but haven’t actually vomited at all so far.

However, for the past few days, I’ve not been feeling particularly sick and my breasts have been much less tender. I am still feeling really tired and have had heart burn a little but not as much as I did in previous weeks.

I’ve been getting the odd twinge low down in my tummy. No bleeding or spotting, or anything of that nature but you know how your mind can run away and make you panic.

Has anyone else had a similar timeline in terms of symptoms disappearing? It just seems so strange to be feeling ok at this point as you often hear horror stories of sickly first trimesters!

Should I just count myself lucky?!

Thanks so much in advance!

I had the same happen to me about a week ago.

Having had the worst MS for about 3 weeks non stop, unable to keep most foods down, plus sore boobs..I woke up last Wednesday and everything had disappeared. I felt very in pregnant and started to worry I may be about to MC.

Turns out it was just a 1 day break as the next day I was back to being sick and miserable.

I do think that was probably the day my placenta kicked in as my symptoms have been slowly getting milder over the week, still have bad waves but nowhere near what it was like.

I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry. If there's no red blood and no heavy cramps just take it as a nice little breather from the first trimester z

I had morning sickness..well evening sickness from 6-8 weeks on and off then it went away until 12 weeks and I had full force sickness for another 2 weeks then it went away. I only had breast tenderness until 8 weeks then nothing after that either. In fact from 6-10 weeks I also had horrendous cramps and I was sure something bad was going to happen and booked a private scan at 10 weeks to see baby fluttering with a strong heartbeat but according to my midwife it was just ligament stretches to prepare your body to grow baby. I know it's worrying at this stage but try to relax people have different symptoms at different stages.
