How worried should I be? Thyroid

28w pregnant with a preexisting under active thyroid.

Ive just had my 28 week midwife appointment and found out that, when my bloods were taken at my 20w scan no-one followed up on the fact that my TSH was over 9. It shouldn't be above 2.5. Who knows what it is now. My thyroid has been under-medicated for coming up to 9weeks now.

Could this have hurt my baby, short or long term?

The midwife took my bloods again today and will follow up with me herself when she's next working on Thursday. So she can't be too worried, right?!

I will of course ask the midwife all this when i speak to her, I didnt think of it at the time stupidly. I'm just reeling a bit and Dr Google is no help.
