Hi everyone.
I'm 38 weeks and I just want this baby out! My last appointment was on Wednesday and I was 2cm dilated and 4/5 engaged this is my second baby. On wednesday morning I lost my mucus plug. Since Thursday night I have been having really bad diarrhoea (sorry if tmi), on and off again mild cramps, some lower back pain and some nausea and lots of pressure! Are these signs i could be going into labour anytime soon?? This is 2nd baby, I didn't have any of these signs with first baby, my waters were broken for me at 40+2 and I was able to go naturally, what is everyone else's stories anything similar to the symptoms im having ?

I would imagine it won't be long. Isnt losing your mucus plug a sign of things happening, even if not immediately, your a good 4 days after. Nausea I beleive is quite common and I've felt it in two of my labour's out of 4, either leading up to or during. Relaxing is the best thing you can do, your body won't want to go into labour if your stressed. So run yourself a bath , relax. Xx
