Baby name help

Hi everyone I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby and where having a little girl I already have an 11 month old son called Alexander
I'm finding it so hard to decide on a girls name

I loved the name ophelia but mine and my boyfriends family all hate it and keep pronouncing it wrong and saying it sounds like " a feel ya "

We also love the name freya and maybe ophelia as a middle name

Another name we liked was Astrid

What's everyones thoughts what's name do you like best or any unusual baby name ideas

And would naming your child a name people might say wrong put you off

I think Ophelia is fine, but some people will inevitably take the piss. They're rude to, but it depends how much you care (and want your DD to face).

Ophelia Freya is far too much of a mouthful though.

We haven’t told any family what our babies name is going to be for this reason.

I think Ophelia is a lovely name but if your bf doesnt like it then it’s not a goer xx

Astrid was one top choice for DD1 but we worried about it being shortened to Ass in school and the trouble that may have lead to.

My daughters names are Miranda and Vivien, Wanda was my hubby's top name but I couldn't get past A Fish Called Wanda at the time but it's grown on me over the years.

DC3 on the way and we already have a front runner (secret 😉) but other favourites were Cora, Penelope, Florence and Sylvie ♥️
