Bit of a silly question, but need my mind put at rest - can a bad cough distress the baby (33 wks pg)

I am normally a sensible sort and rationally I know the answer is no but I have to ask. I have had an awful cough for over a week now - coughing most of the day and it feels like all night as well. My already stretched stomach muscles are now aching like hell with all the coughing. I am still getting plenty of movement (and plenty of wee-leakage - sorry tmi) but I'm a bit concerned that constant coughing is not good for the baby. I'm daft aren't I?

Obviously a really silly question

Will bump once then slink off (coughing all the while...)

I had bronchitis at 36 weeks and the Dr said in passing that it could cause the baby some distress. I don't say that to worry you because DS was fine but I milked it for all it was worth with work
