Hi so, first time being pregnant here and little things are starting to freak me out at this late stage...
I've had it relatively easy for my whole pregnancy (thank the lord), but today I have like a pain/discomfort radiating from my back through my hips, making it feel like my bump/front of my ribs hurt? It's mostly when I'm lying down or standing.
It's not sore to touch, pressure doesn't hurt but the pain eases if I sit up.

Sorry if this such a stupid question but I just want to know if I should be worried?

Call your midwife and if that doesn't put your mind at rest ask to see the consultant, it's better than asking a load of ransoms online.

Sounds a little bit like the aches I've been getting. My hips / inside thighs and back ache quite a lot. I put it all down to growing baby. Is it sudden sharp pain or more of a dull ache?

@TheWashingMachine Midwife number always goes to voicemail and she never calls me back. I see her on Monday so was just hoping to hear that someone else felt this and is fine..

@myreddressmydaughtersbear it stopped around 4am, baby still moving away as usual so I'm assuming everything's okay. Kinda just felt like a burning or stretching, so it probably was just growing pains. I need to stop being a drama queen Blush

Maybe it is Braxton Hicks, but if ever you are really worried just go into the hospital.

cherrybby · 17/09/2021 21:21

@TheWashingMachine Hoping it was just braxton hicks and I can get a better nights sleep tonight and it doesn't happen again lol. Thank you

@cherrybby how are you doing OP? Don't worry about being a drama queen at all! Anything you are concerned about or even if its a little thing niggling you its worth getting checked out.

cherrybby · 18/09/2021 20:21

@myreddressmydaughtersbear yeah I've been fine since that day, maybe just braxton hicks? No clue, still getting uncomfortable at night time but I suppose that's just being almost 32 weeks gone lol! How are you doing since you had the same thing?

@cherrybby Ah yeah nights are not much fun are they? I turn onto one side and then get uncomfy on my hip and have to roll over again, repeat x 100 times a night. I'm just grateful its getting cooler now tho.

My bump still hurts occasionally, but I think its partly due to babys position - he is still transverse :( I'm 32 weeks. Your due date must be near mine - 6th Nov.

cherrybby · 18/09/2021 20:33

@myreddressmydaughtersbear I'm due the 14th! Crazy feeling to be honest! Sleeping is an actual nightmare but can't say I wasn't well warned lol

@myreddressmydaughtersbear my bump hurts every now and then too but probably just is baby's position
