Hot Restless Feet..can’t sleep

Currently 23 weeks pregnant and haven’t slept properly in weeks. At night I have horrendous hot restless feet in bed and it’s driving me CRAZY!

I’m exhausted. I try cooling my feet under the tap it makes things better for all of 2 mins. I thought it was just the heatwave to start with but it’s not. The weather makes no difference. I need some solutions and fast….

Poor you - hot burning feet are the pits. I have it hormonally for a long time, and in fact have it right now.

Have you tried a fan on your feet? If it’s really bad I run a pair of socks in cold water, squeeze the excess and put them on fairly wet, and then sleep in wet socks with a fan going. Total game changer

Oooh, I've had horribly hot feet this year, but I'm definitely not pregnant. I got some plastic ice packs, froze them and took them to bed with me, wrapped in thin towels. Worked beautifully.

Put some socks in the freezer/fridge before putting them on? Or like pp said wet socks with a fan! Sympathies, it’s not the one when you’re already knackered.

It might not help the hot feet but iron tablets massively improved my restless legs when I was pregnant. My midwife said my iron levels were borderline so didn't put me on them but I asked if I could be put on them because of the restless legs.
I now take a spatone supplement most days and if I forget the restless legs always get worse.
Hot feet are awful though, i hope you find something that helps Thanks

Try a pet cooling mat. I swore by them during the heatwave
