38 weeks, pains and little blood tonight?

Hi everyone.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant and tonight started to get really bad loose stools sorry for tmi. Also pains really down low, I've had a bath to try and ease any pains but they are still coming and going this is 2nd baby so I don't think I'm having any contractions (my first labour was very quick and can't remember much). I went for a pee around 20 mins ago and there was a little tiny bit of blood also. I was checked at my appointment yesterday and was 2cm dilated but as we all know this doesn't mean labour is about to start. Has anyone else every experience any pains like this before labour ? I also lost my mucus plug yesterday morning but it wasn't blood stained.

I'd give maternity triage a ring. And start timing the lowdown pains. My first and second labours felt different to each other initially but the second was definitely quicker than the first (like they say!) and if your first was quick then I'd be getting prepared.

Not sure about the loose stools - you could just be a bit grotty with a tummy bug but I definitely remember being on and off the loo a lot whilst in labour.
