4 weeks and 5 days pregnant, barely any symptoms

Hi !

I've found out I was pregnant one week ago and this is my first pregnancy.
I only had a couple symptoms - painful back pain, mild cramping, irritability.

I'm now 4 weeks and 5 days but I have been getting any backpain at all or hardly any stomach cramps in the last three days.

I'm not dizzy and I don't get morning sickness or cravings either.

Is something wrong with my pregnancy?

I took another pregnancy test yesterday to see if my hormones level were okay and here's a picture of the test:

And a picture of the test 8 days ago:

Most of the time, proper symptoms don't kick in until 6 weeks. Don't worry !

I had no symptoms at all and Iv got a 2 year old it doesn't mean anything.

Congratulations :) The line has got darker which is a good sign as shows your hormones are increasing, don’t worry too much as it’s maybe a bit early to get morning sickness and just remember some people don’t get morning sickness, just take it easy and look after yourself x

Thank you so much for your replies everyone. It's very reassuring

Just to agree with what others have said, with my first pregnancy I had awful heartburn and nausea right from 4 weeks.

But my second pregnancy nothing at all, a tiny bit of yuckiness from 9-12 weeks but absolutely nothing before that! And she is now a healthy 5 month old 😊

So don't worry and try and relax, it is hard in the early days I know when you feel no different!

Hi,

Congrats! I’m 13 weeks and when I first found out I didn’t seem to have any symptoms, I struggled to believe I was even pregnant and kept testing just to reassure myself! Sickness started at about 7/8 weeks but until then I was fine x

Nervyy · 16/09/2021 14:54

Congratulations OP ☺️
I was the same, found out really early and worried re lack of / fluctuating symptoms but then around week 8 or 9 the nausea started and although I haven't been sick yet, I feel it all the time!
So my advice is to enjoy yourself for now as I am sure the symptoms will come 😂
I'm currently 11+4 and baby is happy and healthy as far as I know ❤️🤞🏻 based on my 3 early reassurance scans that is lol xx

I had no symptoms at all until 7 weeks. Then the vomiting kicked in and it didn't stop until they wheeled my in for my c-section.

jellybean88 · 16/09/2021 15:24

Congratulations

It could be to early for symptoms or you could be like me and not have any. I'm currently 29 weeks now

Pinkpather40 · 17/09/2021 10:50

Congratulations! I thought the same around 4/5 and then come 6 weeks chronic nausea! That's what I wished for to feel something and I certainly got it. Still getting a little at 15 weeks :)

thesugarbumfairy · 17/09/2021 11:02

like everyone said - its nothing to worry about. many folk don't know they're pregnant at this point. I didn't realise I was pg with DS2 until three months on - I had no symptoms at all. It just occurred to me one day that I hadn't had a period for a while...

Mumoftwoinprimary · 17/09/2021 11:09

Both my pregnancies symptoms kicked in between 6 and 7 weeks.
