36 weeks, movements, scans induced?

Hi everyone,

I’m really looking just to vent and see if anyone has experienced similar. I’ve been having growth scans since 32 weeks due to reduced movement, they then found baby was measuring small. I’ve had three episodes of reduced movement and baby is measuring on 9th percentile (could all change as scan later on today). I have been on day unit twice this week, once for reduced movement again! I keep getting fobbed off my doctors yet keep being told by various professionals that baby is small and reduced movements mean likely an induction soon. I have mental health issues anyway but now I have this increasing fear of stillbirth due to the reduced movement and him being small. I am not under a consultant but was told today after my scan to come back to the unit to have a doctor review and hopefully make a plan. I’m feeling really overwhelmed and unsure what they will do, but I am in constant fear if baby doesn’t move for an hour or so.

@Amber2802 sorry you are going through this! I am under consultant my whole pregnancy due to 2 previous miscarriages. All scans have been perfect and at 31 weeks I was still following the 50th percentile curve.
Had a routine consultant appointment at 35 weeks which was Wednesday to be told that the scan showed slowed growth and baby had now dropped to the 10th percentile. Was instantly put on the monitor, placenta and cord flow etc all perfect. Have to return back today for CTG then on Monday then rescanned again on Wednesday. I am worried sick!

I haven't had reduced movements but they did state the importance that if anything at all changes to contact them straight away. It's ridiculous you are being fobbed off, I suffer extreme anxiety and have the exact same fears as you. Although midwives have all been reassuring the consultant didn't speak 2 words to me and just left me there with any explanation at all. So all the fears you are experiencing I am also so you are not alone!
