37+3 lots of discharge isn't it normal ?

Hiya.
I'm 37+3 today with 2nd baby. When I woke up this morning I went to the toilet and wiped and there was lots and lots of snot like discharge, I've had this before but no where the amount I had this morning, each time I've been to the toilet since its still there. I've had to put a sanitary towel on also. I thought maybe mucus plug but there is no blood. Is this normal?

I have no clue if this is true but I read somewhere that if it’s not bloody, it could be your plug but it means the labour is still a while away whereas bloody mucus is a sign of it being more imminent

Hi OP. Sounds like my mucus plug in my last pregnant. I didn’t have any blood either. If unsure could always call your maternity unit they could advise? I lost mine but didn’t go in to labour for another 10 days so it wasn’t a precursor

Yeah its your mucous plug by the sounds of it. Mine came out over the course of a couple of days before i gave birth to my DC. Maybe ring the hospital and see what they say
