Hello everyone I just wondered if anyone else feels as terrible as I currently have been the last few days I have been feeling so sick and shaky and the "period like pains" Brixton contractions are getting worse there's gaps inbetween so not frequent enough for me to think I'm going into labour but I'm wondering if my body is nearly ready I'm due on 1st October by planned c section but not sure if I'll make it till then as I feel incredibly awful I've even done a covid test just to rule it out.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling the best, love. I'm 38+4 today. Definitely over the past week braxton Hicks have been more often and ow like I have to breathe and wait for them to pass. The do pass quickly but it is uncomfortable! I think it's our uterus preparing and things mainly. There's no pattern to mine but things generally have ramped up. Certainly enough for me to finalise my hospital bags!

@RadDarwazeh that's helpful to know as I've been feeling the same! And like you have got my bag out ready just incase 😅 have you noticed any rapid movements recently? Tonight and last weekend it's like my baby has gone wild in there I've only just seen that increased movement as well as decreased should be checked out its a constant worry. He's pattern has been normal but he'll get random nights like tonight where I feel like he could pop out my stomach he's a big baby so very strong 💪🏼 wondered if you noticed the same?

No I'm the opposite. Had less wriggles, had a midwife appointment today and all ok. But either way it's worth getting checked out for your own reassurance! I have also been binging YouTube videos on labour and birthing, I can't stop watching them haha!
