Constant spotting and bleeding at 14 weeks pregnant

Just need a little rant!
I had a huge bleed 13 days ago( 13 weeks) and ended up in A&E for over 5 hours for them to tell me to go home and wait for the EPU to ring me. They rang on The Monday and arranged a scan for the next day.

At my scan baby was very active and had a heartbeat. I asked if they could find a reason for the bleed and they said there was nothing and everything looked normal!

Since then I’ve been non stop bleeding, spotting. Sometimes it’s pink/peachy colour, dark red/brown and then sometimes bright red. I have another scan booked for tomorrow but they can’t do an internal to check my cervix only check baby.

It’s really starting to get me down, I can’t get excited about this pregnancy at all. I have bipolar and obviously haven’t been on my medication for nearly 10 weeks now and feel this is sending me over the edge. I’m constantly googling and trying to find other people who’ve had the same thing.

I’m honestly so stressed and it’s really getting me down now. I just want to know why I’m still bleeding but no one seems to want to find out

Sorry your going through this.
No personal experience but my friend bled every month in her pregnancy and was absolutely fine.
You need to get answers, so I would be abit stern and get them to find out the cause, ask them what can be done going forward and if you need to take any precautions etc.
It's all well and good checking baby and knowing everything is fine but if your going to have this every week you need to find out why.
I would stop the Google, it's not your best friend!
I would also be inclined to ring my GP for a chat you may get abit more from them and they can help support you.

@Jemma128 how did you get on? I'm going through same now.

Hi Amy,

It all stopped a few weeks later and I had a lovely, very healthy baby who’s nearly a year old 😆

I never got any answers for why I was bleeding, I did end up going to another hospital for a check on my cervix and that was all fine!

hopefully it all stops for you too, I completely understand how you feel! It’s frustrating not knowing why and after reading so many of these posts last year there generally can be no explanation at all for bleeds!

@Jemma128 I really appreciate you replying. And congrats hunni!
I have literally read every forum going and majority of women's responses are "no idea where the bleeding is coming from"
It's driving me insane. I had a scan on Sunday and little baby was perfectly fine wriggling away but I have continued to have bleeding since, but the bleeding is literally first thing on the morning followed by brown spotting for the rest of the day and that has been the same pattern since Sunday. Driving me nuts!
