Pressure in head and throat when baby moves

Hi everyone
Just wondering if anyone else has had this but it's so hard to explain.
I'm 36 weeks and 6 days but this has been happening every day for about 2 weeks now.
When baby moves (or I think its baby moving, it could be Braxton hicks) it feels like he is pressing his whole body up against my stomach and pushing himself out. When he does this it feels like someone has a grip round my throat and is chocking me and then my head feels this big pressure like its in a vice, I try and take a deep breathe in and breathe through it but once the baby has moved/braxton hicks has calmed down it goes.
It's not painful but it definitely hurts and the pressure I feel in my face, head and throat is all very confusing and concerning.
Anyone had this? Or can explain please, I've googled but not found anything and all I got off my midwife was a "hu, that's funny, never heard of that before" she shrugged and changed subject.

Never heard of this but I’d go to doctor/ hospital and get that checked out

I have this and have had it all along with braxton hicks. They are more intense now at 37 weeks. It's like being held upside down or someone is sitting on my chest!

My midwife also didn't say anything and neither did the hospital.. Just huh that's weird!

I had them like this with my daughter too!

Thank you! Yes! It's like been held upside down!! Is it braxton hicks then? I can't believe they don't look into it though. Did you have an okay birth then? Or was there any complications? It's really worrying me

If you’re worried see a doctor. Don’t get reassurance from someone you don’t know on the internet - this is your health!

My doctor said I need to speak to my midwife and my midwife like I said didn't do or say anything about it, that's why I've come on the Internet

My braxton hicks have been similar to this also - almost like a weird pressure on my chest and giving me palpitations.
My braxton Hicks are worse now (38 weeks) but these feelings do seem to have waned a bit now.

Ask your midwife or doctor to refer you to a consultant. If your head is hurting so much there may be an issue with a blood vessel being impacted or something (very much not a doctor)

My last birth resulted in a crash section but was nothing to do with this as far as I know!

This time, both my consultant and midwife have said it's nothing. I also went in to be monitored due to them and they said they are just very gnarly braxton hicks!

They are super intense for me and I get them regularly, even up to every 5 minutes for 1 minute at a time hence why I went in to be monitored.
