I'll be 39. Generally very fit and healthy and pregnant with my first. Most of my friends (younger when they had their first) ended up having an emergency c-section after attempting VB.
Given my age, are my chances of having a complicated birth higher if I go down VB route? I am trying to getting a sense of my chances of having an uncomplicated VB (no instruments needed and 1st or 2nd degree tear max). I know there are no guarantees but I wonder if anyone here has any first time older mums success stories to share?
