37 weeks, legs are PURPLE?!

Hi everyone.
I'm 37 weeks and over the last 2 weeks or so I have noticed my legs going a very weird colour like quite purpleish. Tonight however I have been having really bad pains in my leg and when I went to get dressed for bed my partner looked at me and gasped my legs from the shin down were bright bright purple with white dots more purple than they ever were before. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Yes I'd be concerned RE blood clots tbh. 111 for sure, maybe straight to A&E if you get any chest pain

I just got a bath to try ease the pain the colour has defiantly went down a little but pain is still there, but I will ring and see what they say.. thanks

Definitely 111 or even better go and see your antenatal ward.

Do you have a 24 hour number for emergency care in the front of your white folder? Definitely get it checked out please, it's not worth the risk of delaying.

Can DP drive? Go to the hospital maternity unit and see a midwife.

Doesn't sound normal at all, have you brought it to midwife's attention at any appointment you've had since it started 2 weeks ago?

I don't get how people think stuff like this is even remotely normal.

OP, how are you today?

I had something similar late on in my pregnancy and raised the concern with my midwife who told me it was nothing to worry about. Though I would get it checked it out to be sure.
