Currently 28 weeks, first baby, and I've been non stop unwell.
I had morning sickness so bad I was bed ridden for the first 4 half months, and now it just seems I keep picking up infection after infection.
Had to go in hospital last week because I had a kidney infection, which I'm still on antibiotics for and over the weekend I've developed a really bad ear infection 😭

I've been non-stop ill! No one ever told me just how unwell you can be during pregnancy, did anyone else experience being constantly unwell? It's driving me mad, I'm so ill I can't keep on top of work/housework etc

Please tell me I'm not the only one who experienced this and it'll get better 😅

Hey,

Sorry you've had a rough time of it. Pregnancy weakens your immune system which makes it easier to pick up bugs and infections. It does sound like you've been particularly unlucky though.

Are you still taking your vitamins? A multivitamin could help to ensure you aren't lacking in anything.

Hope you feel better soon. Not much longer to go (I know it feels like forever) x

You have my sympathies. I had horrific morning sickness for the first 5 months and was bed ridden for a good chunk of it. When pregnant with DS2 I was ill twice, once with a horrendous chest infection which took weeks to clear and then with the bug, me, DP and ds1 were sick all at the same time with both illnesses. Pregnancy is meant to be all joy and happiness but it's difficult to feel that way when your poorly. Take good care of yourself and have plenty of rest. Hoping you feel better soon! ❤

Hi,

I have been quite unlucky so far 😅

Yep still taking them everyday! I've just always had a bad immune system but pregnancy seems to have knocked it right down!

And thank you! It does feel like forever atm but I know it's not long x

Oh gosh, bless you, that sounds bad!

It has been a bit of a struggle what with being constantly unwell but thank you! I'm hoping I feel better soon too! Just glad to know I'm not the only one who got hit with bugs/sicknesses etc 😂 x
