I'm 30 weeks pregnant today and it's my first baby!

Is there anything different I need to start doing now?

When should I start sitting and bouncing on my pregnancy ball?

Any tips or anything recommended I read about ect?

Any help appreciated
Thanks!

I'd probably start with www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/your-pregnancy-care/your-antenatal-care/ because as you can see hitting 30 weeks isn't really a transition point or anything like that...keep doing what you've been doing to stay healthy so far and take your midwife's advice (and that in your paper notes or on the stuff within the app) on prepping for birth etc when you're nearer term, at the moment you want to keep baby in safely.

I'd be more worried about keeping covid safe than specifics at this point, others may disagree and have some top tips but personally I think it's a bit early yet to be doing anything different.

Following as I'm 30+2 with first baby! I've had an exercise ball for a while now as I have PGP & find doing pelvic exercises on it very helpful, haven't started bouncing yet though 😁

Pelvic floor exercises are a must! Wish I had taken it more seriously 😆

I'm 30 weeks on Wednesday
This week I downloaded the squeezy app to start doing my pelvic floor exercises and have also started monitoring my weight a bit more closely.
I am also already using a ball due to having SPD.

I’m 30 weeks tomorrow might start perennial massages in two weeks . Not sure if they work but willing to give them a go

Congratulations! So, ensure you are doing your Kegels twice a day. perineal massages from 32 weeks every day. Really helps if you have a partner who can do it as they can stretch it more than you can to yourself. This I really believe helped massively with both my births.
