Hi!
This is my first pregnancy and I've just started to notice a clear substance coming from my right nipple! I thought it was really early for colostrum, but could this be what it is?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No its not too early for colostrum

Yes it's colostrum! I started leaking at 22 weeks and thought it was really early too but my midwife said it's completely normal, some people just start earlier than othersSmile xx

I felt exactly the same!Grin Just a heads up though, my midwife said not to 'stimulate' or encourage it because one of the hormones released when you harvest/pump colostrum is associated with making you go into labour! Not to worry, but just to keep in mind!
She did say to me it's a good sign that you'll have a healthy supply of colostrum that you can start harvesting at around 37 weeks if you want to look into that xx
