Hi Everyone... First time poster so apologies if there is already a similar thread.

We've had years of fertility struggles especially the past year being told that we wouldnt fall pregnant naturally, we both have problems with fertility etc. Days before treatment was due to start, I found out we were pregnant. 16 weeks now and 3 scans confirming everything is absolutley fine, I cant help but think there is something wrong. Is this normal? I just don't want to ruin what should be a great experience by worrying over nothing.

Hi. No real advice as I spent all of my pregnancies anxious.

Try and take some time out to do things that you enjoy and maybe have a chat with your midwife at next appointment.

I'm 30 weeks, had 8 scans & I'm still anxious that something will go wrong! In a similar boat as I was TTC for 10 years. Had 2 traumatic losses so to me pregnancy never ends well. Despite feeling baby move almost constantly I still doubt I'll hold this little one in my arms. Pregnancy anxiety is real! You're not alone Thanks

Thank you both for making me feel normal! I suppose it's just part the parcel isnt it. I feel the same @JackJack84, I think i'm maybe still in shock it is happening.

I completely understand your anxiety OP. I spent almost 3 years having multiple IUI's and IVF's and was beginning to think it would never happen for me. Now I'm in early pregnancy and about to have my third scan tomorrow (my important "12 week" one - I'm 13+3) and I'm terrified they will find something wrong Sad. Trouble is I'm not sure the anxiety ever ends when you want something this much- if everything is okay with this scan, it still feels an awfully long time till the next one!

Scanxiety is so real. I'm 31 weeks , I've had 5 scans and another tomorrow and I'm still a nervous wreck every time. Pregnancy is a scary time, so much is beyond our control and we have to put so much faith in our body.
