Just ordered Strada’s 9 piece travel bundle and looking to see if any of you mum’s have the same and your experience with it? I was looking for compact (have smaller car) and lightweight and easy to it and it seems to tick all boxes.

(Last sentence should have said “easy to use and it seems to tick all the boxes”). Smile

Me! I've got this. Baby is due in 2 weeks, I'll keep you updated on how I find the travel system when I use it. I liked it because of the same reasons - easy to open and close, not too heavy but it's still sturdy. I like the flat car seat option too.

Need to install the car seat base some time soon.

How far along are you? Xx

I have the occaro bundle with the cloud z and it’s great! I presume both prams are the same in terms of folding them away and the occaro is so easy to put up, you just undo the clip and the frame basically goes up itself! Love the cloud z. So so handy the fact it swivels on the base for putting a newborn into the car. I have no idea how I’d get on putting him in if it didn’t turn round. So easy just clicking it into the base too and not having to worry about seatbelts. The three green lights are so handy and stop me from worrying that I’ve got it in wrong. I thought I would use the lie flat function on the cloud z on the pram wheels but I haven’t yet (one month old). I’m so wary of him not being able to control his head well so I’ve just used to pram every time we’ve gone anywhere but when he’s slightly bigger I think it will be a lot quicker to use the car seat on the pram. The only downside I can see of the cloud z is it’s quite a heavy car seat, even without a baby in it but I’m still really glad we got it

@RadDarwazeh thank you - yes let me know. I think it’ll be fab. I’m due around mid Dec. You’re so close to meeting baby now! Wishing you all the best with the birth. Smile

@sarah13xx thank you! I was going to get Ocarro but didn’t fit in my boot. I really like the Strada as it’s light and easy. But yes you’re right they operate the same so it’s great to see you’re happy with yours Smile

Hi, sorry I found this thread as I am looking for first hand reviews of the mamas and papas strada! We are in love with the pram, seems to tick all the right boxes but we can't judge how sturdy it is when going a little bit off-road, can you give me you impressions please?
I know that the strada is not meant for all terrain (the ocarro would be much better, but it's also much heavier!!), but how would it be when going on a path with gravel, or on the grass, or maybe on a country park path?
if any of you would be so kind to share their experience, I would really appreciate it!
thanks :)

Hi @EsseKey

Hi again @Zulu933

I have this bundle and used a lot so far. Baby is nice and cosy and sturdy in the car seat. The carry cot has no strapping in so baby jiggles a bit when off terrain. With the cloud z you can lay baby flatter so I think up to 1.5 hrs so if you're going off terrain I'd use the car seat or the pram. The carry cot would be good for flatter things like a shopping mall and only small amounts of off terrain. The wheels are really sturdy. It's an easy pram to push around with minimal effort. Turning is brilliant too and nice and easy to do.

The pram is easy to fold down. I would recommend using the pram even for small walking around journeys as the car seat gets so heavy!

@RadDarwazeh thanks!!!

It's good to hear that the Strada seems to handle well even some off-terrain! We loved it in the shop but they wouldn't allow us to try it outside, so it is very difficult to judge!
We live in a sub-urban area, we have a lot of nice walks in this area near the canal and in the county park (so there will be gravel, grass, etc), and I would like to have a pram that allows me to go there almost daily but without having something too bulky or heavy to lift in the car boot! And without compromising the pram integrity of course :D
Does it sound like something that the Strada would easily do?

In the shop I noticed that the Cloud Z is quite heavy indeed, but it seemed quite handy to have the turning function, as well as the fact that in theory I should be able to use it for a little bit longer than other car seats!

@EsseKey the Strada will handle that terrain I think especially with the pram or car seat. Not the carrycot, your baby will be too wriggly in it.
