Hi all,

I am about five weeks and 3 days pregnant (I know I ovulated late) but 6 weeks 3 days according to the Dr's at the moment.

Have had really painful cramps for about a week and a half - waking me up in the night and coming in waves.

Sat with a hot water bottle on my stomach (wrapped in a blanket) all day yesterday and did very little. Some minor cramps in the day but no cramps during the night.

Today I have had no cramps at all ... breasts are still very sore, still tired, no bleeding or spotting.

Is this normal ? Really anxious that something is wrong. Early pregnancy unit won't see me until I am ten weeks. Think I will try and book a private scan as I am really worried something is wrong.

I appreciate any help - this is my first pregnancy.

Hi I'm new to this website and just ran across your thread. Were you and your baby healthy in the end ?

@brokeoutinsong
I am going though the same and im 5-1 weeks, older in life and a first timer. My cramps have been minor so far but today they are like the first day of my period, horrible. I have been reading a lot of posts and it seems like if you dont have bright red bleeding with them then its completely normal, it's just growing and stretching pains xx

Hello

Yes, I am currently looking at her little chubby face haha. We were both healthy touch wood. The cramps ended up getting a lot worse, they were very painful but last until about 13 weeks and then eased off.

So glad I found this thread, I'm 4+6 and have had painful cramping every night for the last 6 nights. No spotting and boobs are super sore so hoping it's all good signs 🤞 xx
