Hey all,

I have been having tonic water a couple of evenings this week not loads maybe half a pint as it's been nice and warm outside and felt like it was a gin haha! But I heard I shouldn't have it as it contains quinine now I'm worrying a little! What are everyone's through to on this? Xx

NHS advice. You don't need opinions from anyone/anywhere else

I drank lots of tonic water in pregnancy - I never knew I shouldn’t! I had a big 9lb bouncing baby a week early. No issues.

I’ve drank loads of tonic water (just had a glass). Never heard that you can’t. Agree with PP, stick with the NHS guidance; if it’s not mentioned on there, it’s not worth worrying about.

My midwife actually told me to drink it to help my HG she said ignore google
