I’m currently waiting for my cvs results. It’s my first baby and I had my 12 week scan on Wednesday. Baby’s neck was measuring 4.7mm. The ultrasound tech instantly said Down’s syndrome 🤦🏻♀️ I was sent on to a specialist midwife who conducted a blood test which came back 1 in 208 chance for downs. I’ve broken down for days not knowing the unknown. She said I wasn’t high risk however I’ve read so many different stories and decided to have the cvs test to rule out any abnormalities. I don’t know what to think or do, I won’t get my test results until Tuesday or latest Wednesday. My mum also had the chance of myself having Down’s syndrome which her odds were 1 to 250. Has any one else been through some thing similar or going through it ? Thanks.
