I've taken tests that show faint positives. What do I do?

I've taken 4 tests. 1 was a definite negative, 2 showed very very faint lines and the last showed a white/grey line. I cant afford any more tests right now.
I haven't had a period for 7 months but I know I haven't been pregnant all that time lol, I've just never had regular periods.
Is it even possible for me to be pregnant?
I haven't felt good recently and have had terrible heart burn which I don't really think it's to do with me being pregnant but I'm just not sure anymore.

Wait a week and test with an internet cheapie or pound shop test. It could just be very early.

Charcha20 · 11/09/2021 04:13

I'll do that, I'll have some money by then. I've been thinking it could just be very early but would I really be getting any symptoms yet? Also I've had a niggling thought in my head for a while that I may not be able to have children so that's also confusing

Have you been trying to get pregnant? When did you last have unprotected sex?

Charcha20 · 11/09/2021 04:27

I haven't been trying, but I have had unprotected sex more than once in recent months.

Also, I've been using the freedom test strips and I've seen now that they're not reliable. Is this true?

If you've had unprotected sex then yes you could be pregnant.
Like a PP says, wait a week and test again.

As an aside, I only ever have heartburn when I'm pregnant.

Charcha20 · 11/09/2021 17:46

I will do, I'll get a digital one next week.
I've had very mild heart burn in the past but the last week or so its been so so bad, also had pain in my boobs so I'm going to make a doctors appointment anyway in a week or 2.

Faint positive freedom tests were correct for me.
I couldn’t believe the result and called my doctor who was very confused that I’d contacted her and said ‘if there’s 2 lines, of course you’re pregnant’. I asked if they could do a blood test and she refused saying that tests are so reliable these days, they wouldn’t ‘waste money on a blood test’

Charcha20 · 11/09/2021 18:30

That's made me more sure they they are positive! I was unsure about using tests that are so cheap but I guess you're right that things are so advanced these days :)
