Has anyone got a BFP really late?

Hi, was just wondering if anyone has got a BFP well after their period is due?

My period is almost 9 days late and I have been getting bfn so far. Been testing from the day I was due and the last time I tested was yesterday when I was 1 week late. I did get exaggerated signs of AF starting last Thursday, with horrific lower back pain and lower belly cramps (don't usually get it that bad) I was so sure it was going to start but never did.

Have been feeling on and off nausea (especially this afternoon 🤢) and been getting intermittent pains in my boobs. I have more tests arriving tomorrow but honestly I can't bear to see yet another negative so am actually really not wanting to bother testing 😞

Has anyone had a similar experience to mine and been pregnant? Or is it just not very likely and I've missed a period for other reasons unknown to me?

I had almost exactly this after my first covid jab. Was 9 days late when normally v regular. Have you had a vaccine recently?

Hi, thank you so much for replying. I had my jab in the middle of July, then had a normal period 3 days later. Then got an early period a few weeks after that. And now my period has gone awol 🤔 what I find weird is that I had all the symptoms of my period starting last week when it was due. DH and I did have sex the day before ovulation last month, so I mean it's possible I am pregnant but without that BFP I of course can't be sure. And it's looking unceasingly unlikely I'm going to get one this late into the cycle 😔

Me! I did! My LMP started 29.07. Was due on around 26.08 but nothing. I tested from 24.08 until 1.09 and got negative after negative. Not even a squinted. Stark white.
Assumed my cycle hadn’t settled yet so just resigned myself to waiting for AF to start again. Then two days ago I had really weird itchy nipples so on a whim I did a cheapie. Two lines! And a CBdigi later confirmed 3+. No idea when I ovulated really, assuming it was much later than I thought, so I’m guessing at around 4wks.

Yes, I didn't get a BFP till I was already 6 weeks pregnant

Thank you for your replies. I read them with hope, then discovered that I am having the start of my period 😞 I have never been 9 days late before and now I will never trust another late period again. After 3.5 years of trying for a little one it feels like some sort of cruel joke the universe is playing on me. Really thought I had a chance.
