37 weeks pregnant constant pain in stomach

Hi everyone.
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have been having constant like period pain since around 2am this morning. Tmi but was struggling to go to the toilet so put it down to constipation as reason for the pain but I have been able to to since. I have a lot of pressure and its like a constant period pain but not unbearable, any idea what this could be?

Labour?

I’m 35+6 today and been the same for the past week, with a horrible period ache and constipation. I’m just keeping an eye on it atm as my midwife says it’s probably my body preparing for labour, but doesn’t mean I’ll be early.
