I'm in my 28th week now and have noticed that when I wake up at night my arm/s are often dead and my wrists hurt in the mornings. Is this normal???

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Fluid retention in pregnancy can put pressure on certain nerves, especially in the wrist. I had it during the last few weeks, felt horrible. It can also be a sign of pre-eclampsia so mention it to your midwife so she can keep an eye on your blood pressure and maybe order a blood test but it's likely fluid retention. It got better for me about a week after my daughter was born.

I'm 30 weeks & have had the same thing for a few weeks now. My BP has always been normal. Just another joy of pregnancy for me I think 😁

@Aggy35 I had the same 😓 my blood pressure etc was fine the whole way through. During pregnancy your blood volume almost doubles and can put pressure on nerves in the wrist and hands causing Carpal Tunnel. I was really quite uncomfortable with mine. Probably started really noticing it about 28-30 weeks and it completely disappeared about 6-8weeks after birth.
