I’m delighted this week to have passed the 12th week stage of pregnancy- feel I can relax a bit more. Anyone else feel the same?

Hi and congratulations 😊

I'm in the same spot. I had my second 12 week scan yesterday ( it was too early for measurements the first time!) and measured at 13w with all looking good.

I think it is definitely a relief to get past that milestone. However, a lot of my worrying to date has been triggered by my own body, worrying about spotting, symptoms, cramps etc which I'm sure I'll still do plenty of 😅

The other relief is being able to start telling people about the pregnancy. I've developed a bit of a belly over the last week and I'm still having nausea etc so it'll be nice to stop hiding everything!

How was your scan? And are you thinking about telling people the good news soon?

Hi and congratulations!! It must have been lovely to finally see the baby on the scan .

I was so relieved to finally see the baby on the scan - sort of makes it all feel real!
I’ve told some friends as 2 of them are pregnant as well and they guessed anyway - unfortunately I don’t have a good relationship with my parents so it doesn’t really matter whether they know or not /

  • they won’t be figuring in the baby’s life sadly

Well I was so happy to have gone in to my second trimester as everyone tells me the sickness starts to ease... it hasn't 😩😩😩

I’m 12+1 according to period and have my scan tomorrow. I’ve been really excited until the last week or so I’m just very scared! It almost feel too good to be true to have two successful pregnancies one after the other with no losses. I know it sounds morbid but I know so many people and read so many posts about miscarriage and just don’t know how I could be so lucky avoid it and I don’t know why I feel like it I just do. Will be relieved when tomorrow is over I think.
