Clear blue digits but negative hospital test

Hi All,
I’m hoping you guys can help some.
I posted on here the other day showing my pregnancy test and it was positive. I then test with a clear blue digital the day my AF was due and got pregnant 1-2wks pregnant. Yesterday day after had brown mucus when I wiped and slightly panicked but thought could be implemation bleed but went to early pregnancy unit to get tested and scan drank water while sitting there waiting she did a scan as early couldn’t see anything understandable but she said test came back negative and they use very sensitive one (not sure about that) which shocked the day light out of me very confused she said blah blah blah wanted to also do a blood test which I said not interested as wanted to just run out of there. When I got home still had a clear blue digital left so decided to test and still came back pregnant 1-2 wks…I feel she was a little dismissive because of my age 42 so just assumed but I just don’t believe them…what are your thoughts and thank you Inadvance

Can you call them back and apologise for rushing away? Explain you were upset and not really thinking straight and ask if you can still have the blood test?

I would ring GP, explain and asked for a blood test.
I've seen many threads on here where the hospital test was negative but they were indeed pregnant.

I think you need to call them back say you made a mistake and wish the blood test.

I am banking on this….I think I will call my GP for a chat…today thanks

You really need the blood test they offered. I was sent to epu after testing positive on a digi. Had early scan (nothing showed), took a pregnancy test in clinic, stark bfn. Had bloods taken, hcg detected. DC now 5 and I was very much pregnanct. Good luck!

Blood tests are the absolute best way of knowing what's going on! Definitely ring them back and tell them that you'd like to do them. They should repeat the test 48 hours later to see if HCG is rising/doubling.

Have you had anymore blood when wiping since yesterday?

I had a positive 1-2 weeks but on the first response it was such a fsintttt line.
On Superdrug own it was faint like too.

I bet my money that the hospital test had a faint line but they ain't going to analyse it like us. If it doesn't have a "in your face" line they will just toss it away as negative.

With my first pregnancy I literally had to show the doctor "look that's the line, it's faint" after he tried telling me it was negative Blush

I so needed to hear that I have tears in my eyes….I didn’t even see the test.

Just did blood test and they said they will call later with the results….the lady also said they use cheap test only 25 something and the one I brought is a lot more sensitive but blood test will tell so will keep you all updated ….thank you guys I so appreciate you

Same happened to me had blood tests due to previous ectopic and my bloods were 21. Hospital tests need hcg of 25.

Just an update guys the hospital called regarding the blood test results and said it was less the 2 so not pregnant. At least I know now thanks for your responses and help much appreciated.

That’s ok it wasn’t planned but embraced the idea of having another baby. Dr said all looked good so you know it’s easy fir you to get pregnant.

I’ve been bleeding heavy today and a moment to cry and such but feeling a lot better now.

I must say you women are wonderful and I appreciated the support much love to you all 💕✨
