NT fluid 3.8mm

Hi.
First time parent here. Me and my partner booked a private NIPT test, there was no reason for this.. we just wanted to get it done.
We are currently 10 weeks 5 days but when we went to the test centre they measured us at 11 weeks 5 days.
We are glad we went for the nipt test because When she done the scan, she was unhappy with the fluid as it measured 3.88mm. We are now waiting for the dreaded results but I'm just wondering if anybody has any success stories. I'm trying to stay positive right now especially for my partner.

Hi @alwayspositive if you have a search of the forum (as I have been frantically doing this week) there are lots of reassuring stories about women who had high NT readings but have gone onto have healthy babies. In the U.K., 3.5mm is considered normal so you’re slightly over but not massively so. When is your twelve week scan and when are you expecting your results?

The wait for the results is horrible isn't it? Me and my partner went through IUI so by our dates we are 11 weeks tomorrow.. but our scan on Wednesday they said we are 11 weeks and 5 days which is weird for us to be ahead.

How far are you? Hope you are well. X

Our first hospital scan is Thursday next week. I'm trying to stay positive!
