Constant bladder issue! Anyone else?

Im 27 weeks pregnant and struggling with the constant urge to wee. As this is my first pregnancy I dont know what is normal and when to seek help?

Last week I had a fair amount of pain low down in my pelvis, right in the middle, and had leukocytes on a urine dipstick. GP gave me 3 days of antibiotics and that was it.
Fast forward, I have a constant urge to wee, especially when Im standing or walking. I have the urge constantly but dont actually need to go as hardly any wee comes out, sorry TMI.
I have a really heavy feeling in my lower pelvis now which I didnt have before. Its not a pain, just uncomfortable. Im sure baby did some kind of acrobatics yesterday as today movements arent as strong, can still feel movement but lower down, possibly turned round?
No bleeding or anything but my bump suddenly feels very heavy and large.

Is baby laying in a stupid position? Should I be concerned about something else?
Has anyone else had this?
I dont want to waste the time of the midwife if baby is just in an awkward place and this is normal.

I would call the gp back if the anti biotics haven’t improved things & see what they say. It could just be the baby bouncing on your bladder but worth checking that it’s not something else x

Ive had a urine retest and its normal so unlikely to be an infection now. To be fair the GP wasnt convinced on an infection either but treated for one as theyre common.

It also doesnt feel like an infection if that makes sense.
Ill call the midwife for advice tomorrow as the GP has basically told me he wont do anything else now.
Thanks for replying to me Smile

I've struggled with the same but my symptoms started before the pregnancy. They just got worse with....
The doctors were keen to diagnose me with interstitial cystitis but I really wasn't convinced.
In the end I've read up about vulvodynia and it seems to be much closer to what I'm experiencing at the moment.

Like you, despite almost permanent "symptoms", urine tests return leukocytes but no infection (often blood in the urine too in my case).
It's been frustrating but I've found that sitting on hard chairs is a major trigger for me as are certain foods. I can control my symptoms much better since I know.

@Iris2020 thats really interesting to read. Ill prob have a quick google search about that to see if the symptoms fit what I have been experiencing.
Thank you Smile
