Similar or totally different symptoms in first and subsequent pregnancies?

Hey everyone! So I'm currently in the oh so wonderful two week wait! I've read so many times people saying they experienced exactly the same early pregnancy signs in their first and subsequent pregnancies, so each month I'm kind of assuming I'm out unless my coffee tastes like wee and/or my gums bleed! I just wondered if anyone had experiences of having totally different symptoms in different pregnancies? Really interested in others experiences x thanks everyone! X

Totally different with all of mine. I was convinced each time I was having the other gender. Nope, they are all the same! Pregnancy is strange!

@Dadvdtret thank you for sharing your experience! That made me chuckle as I was actually going to ask if people with different symptoms in each pregnancy turned out to have a different genders but clearly there's no pattern! Xx

First and third (current pregnancy) have so far been exactly the same. In both cases I had awful period cramping in the tww and was convinced I was going to start my period to the extent that I waited over a week late to do a test. Both are girls. My middle pregnancy was completely different, I felt rubbish straight away and felt sick from start. He was a boy. Although I know sex has nothing to do with it as each pregnancy is different

Same for both - just mainly tired but no sickness and one is boy and one girl!

Totally different with all mine, 2 boys and not sure what this one is yet

Agh that's interesting @stormelf as supposedly worse sickness is usually associated with girls isn't it? It just shows how many myths there are surrounding pregnancy! This is why I'm avoiding google during this 2ww! X

With my first I just knew before my period was even late. Really sore boobs and just felt ‘off’. He was a boy. With my second I didn’t bother testing until I was a week late as I had no symptoms at all. Then I hit 6 weeks and felt horrific. Nausea and fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks. She was a girl!

Similar with both, the difference being I tested very early with my second because I was actively trying to conceive. So I knew I was pregnant before I got any symptoms at all. First time I wondered why I was so tired and why I had an awful metallic taste in my mouth.

From there they were fairly similar. Felt nauseous through to about 20 weeks with both, was actually sick more with one though. Felt very different about food, different food aversions. Struggled to eat with one, ate ALL the food with the other.

Mine have been totally different each time. With my second pregnancy I had the least symptoms and had twin girls lol
