Faint positive or evaporation line?

I took a test last night (first day of my missed period) and it looked negative. Went to throw it away this morning and it had a faint but thick pinkish line.

I did another less sensitive test today but it was negative - however I did test negative with my first child until about a week after my missed period.

Basically I'm asking if anyone has had an evaporation line look like this? (Ie. Thick and pinkish)

Will post a pic when I am allowed (I'm new so it won't let me at the mo)

TIA

Very positive to me

That's not even faint. But did I understand correctly that the second line only appeared after the allocated test time?

I've once had a weird false positive that way - I left a negative test laying around for a few hours and then it had two lines. The next day I had a blood test and wasn't pregnant.

Hiya,

Yeah it happened after the time. I didn't see it until the morning so I don't know when the line appeared!

I'm just so impatient - I will probably go out and get some more sensitive tests tomorrow!

Thank you for the reply though - that is helpful!
