Bleeding down below

I'm 24 weeks and for the past month or two I've had slight streaks of blood down below when I wipe after having a wee.. I'm going to the toilet so much and once I've finished wiping a bit more wee comes out so then I end up wiping again and so on, then I end up noticing some blood. I've made myself sore down there a few times from over wiping, is this normal? Like, is it meant to be more sensitive down there? This is my first child by the way so everything is new to me! Sorry if I sound silly xx

I'm only 12w4d but this literally happened to me last night. It felt like I had cut myself or scratched myself from overwiping (I've been doing that as I'm nervous to find something and want to be sure there is nothing there of course) If I hadn't been scanned yesterday I would have paniced and I know myself that I'm very sensitive down there with toilet paper and that
It didn't look like discharge or anything
Are you sensitive down there? could you change your toilet paper? (that's what I'm looking at now)

I’d give triage a bell if I were you.

It’s probably nothing, have you had sex before the bleeding?

But you’re saying your peeing more, you might have a UTI they are super common in pregnancy and can cause bleeding. Give triage a bell 😊

I had this and ended up having a UTI it's worth calling triage and they will check and give you antibiotics if needed

Could be thrust. I had lots of little cuts down below during pregnancy from thrush which sometimes bled. I had no typical thrush symptoms like itching which is pretty standard in pregnancy actually so check with your dr

Are you bleeding from abrasions from wiping? Or is it coming from your urine?
If it’s abrasions, maybe you could switch to wet toilet tissue, dab dry and try a bit of Vaseline?
