Talk about every stage of pregnancy, from early symptoms to preparing for birth.

Is this a really early (1 week) pregnancy symptom or just a coincidence?

My partner and I have very recently started to try for baby number 2. If conception was successful I would now be just over 1 week pregnant.

For the past 3 nights I've woken up to go for a wee 3/4 times every night! I don't drink alcohol, don't feel like I have been drinking more liquids before bed than usual and have dinner 4-5 hours before I go to sleep.

Could this be a super early pregnancy symptom or is it just a coincidence? Can you even get symptoms this early on in pregnancy?!

This is an early pregnancy symptom, your hormones start instantly!
As for 1 week, do you mean 6 weeks from the last period? So you just missed your period 1 week ago?

Sorry, 5 weeks not 6

I start needing to get up for a wee about a week after OV
It’s my only consistent symptom!

Oh I see, a week after ovulation! So you haven't done a test yet? It could definitely be an early pregnancy symptom, I was the same. But also it could be a hormonal period symptom.

You can get those clear blue early tests, maybe give that a go to put your mind at ease!

If you're a week past ovulation you're 3weeks pregnant. It's actually impossible to be 1week pregnant, as that would be 7 days after your period and 7 days before ovulation (assuming a 28day cycle).

Yes sorry a week after ovulation I should've clarified! I haven't tested yet as it's still early, was just curious whether needing the toilet so much more could be a symptom so early in pregnancy as I didn't experience this in my first pregnancy until I was in the third trimester with a bouncing baby kicking my bladder Smile
