Sick leave and statutory maternity pay

Hi, I’m currently on sick leave for something pregnancy related, I was just wondering how this will affect my maternity pay? If anyone knows x

It depends on whether you are currently in the "qualifying period" - I believe that's the 8 week period from being 18 weeks to 26 weeks pregnant. It also depends on whether you are getting SSP or if your employer has a better sick pay policy than the bare minimum.
