Pregnancy insomnia?

Does anyone have any tips to help with sleeping during pregnancy?

I was ridiculously lucky until about 27 weeks, but since then I’ve been waking up after 3 or 4 hours and unable to get back to sleep, at best I get another hour on a Saturday between 8-9 if I’m able to fit a lie in.

Am right here with you after waking up after a 4 hour sleep, its not enough!
But my tips are:
-consistent routine, try to go to bed at the same time every night
-no screen time at least 60 mins before bed (ideally 90 mins) , and leave your phone outside the bedroom
-Don't eat for at least 2 hours before bed

@SouthwestSis
Are you managing to function on that many hours?

I’m still on shift work, so sticking to a bedtime isn’t always easy, but I’ll try to be more organised on my later finishes so I’ve not got a list of things to do when I get in.

Just ordered an alarm clock so that I don’t need to use my phone alarm too!

Thanks for the advise,

I'm a shiftworker too, it's so hard! Think last night was particularly bad as I finished night shifts on Monday morning. Thankfully I'm only doing sets of 2 nights in a row when I do nights from now on, and only 7 weeks to go till I come off nights altogether. Not that I'm counting down or anything!
Today is my 20w scan day so hoping that will be exciting enough to keep me awake!
