hello everyone, this might sound stupid but it’s my first pregnancy and i always seem to worry a lot. so i was sat outside with my partner and i felt something on my foot on my little toe so i looked down and seen some type of insect which looked like a worm crawling on me! i’m not sure actually what it was because i was so quick to get it off me but it’s blood went on me Envy and now i’m afraid! this may sounds stupid but would this cause any type of infection or harm the baby? hhoping i’m just thinking too much xxx

No. It won't cause an infection or harm your baby. It didn't bite you, and even if it did there'd be nothing to worry about. Try not to worry, and enjoy your pregnancy.

Oh love, absolutely not. I used to worry about this sort of thing in my first pregnancy so I know how it feels to be worried, but honestly that won't cause your little one any harm at all. And congratulations!

Assuming you're in the UK, no. There's very very little harmful uk wildlife. If you live elsewhere, also very very unlikely!

This level of anxiety does seem higher than one would expect, if you're struggling with anxiety around your pregnancy speak to your midwife, they can help Smile
