its more than likey because all your ligament and muscles soften and strech when pg therefore I found I had more aches/twinges etc especially when laying down or if I had been sitting in a funny position.

Congratulations BTW

It could be growing pains and probably is!

If you are ever so worried that you are stressing yourself, make a GP appointment or see your midwife and they can check on the heartbeat and make you feel better. I did this around 16 weeks and it totally calmed me down.

Yup I got this alot in the early stages, particularly if i rolled over quickly in bed or got up at a certain angle. Doctor wasn't concerned at all.

Try posting in the due in May thread over on the antenatal board. Someone there is probably having the same.

I'm five weeks pregnant and having exactly the same thing. I feel like I have mild period pains all the time, with sort of twinges all over my tummy. I had come on to ask whether it was normal myself, so this is reassuring!

If it is a sharpish pain to one side, a bit up from your groin then it is probably round ligament pain. Perfectly normal.

I'm 14 weeks and have been getting it for a while, like others have said it's ligaments stretching. This is my fifth pregnancy and it's happened every time.
