Hi all

I'm struggling to get to grips with his routine and also I panic so much if he has a quiet day because I work so much it's so hard for me to always feel reassured I have felt him kick enough.

Is it normal for baby to have quiet days, he has still kicked well over 20 time today. I just feel he is usually a lot more heavy handed

How many weeks are you?

I do think it's a change in movement, rather than just a reduction that is significant. Do you have a number for triage at the hospital to phone for some further advice?

I count how many sessions I have. So say if he kicks a few times first thing and then later on that day I'll count that as 2. If that makes any sense? I find that easier to keep track of. My baby had quiet days until about 28 weeks and now I pretty much know when he will move.
I know that if I didn't feel him at all first thing in the morning, that's unusual for me and I would be calling to get checked.

Have you considered getting a kick counter. You can buy brackets or download an app (I think) where you record each time it moves b

Thank you, this will be easier for me to do also! I'd love to keep a track of kick but I'm often on the phone with customers so it can be hard, if I count the sessions each time of day instead this will provide me with reassurance Daffodil
