How was it? Harder? Easier?
Did you have any complications?
How was the birth compared to the first one?

😌

I got pregnant with DC3 8m after DC2 was born.

The pregnancy was fine, apart from horrendous heartburn and PGD. Tired obvs from having a baby/toddler and working.

DC1 was a horrible induction and about 13hrs.
DC2 was spontaneous and easier
DC3 was induced at 42wks. A quick 2 hr labour from first contraction to birth.

Breastfeeding was very easy.

I had DC4 after a big gap. No PGD. Longer birth (4hrs) tricky to feed.

I also conceived DC5 when DC4 was 13m (so not so small a gap) but pretty much identical to dc3, induction, 2hr labour and easy Breastfeeding.

So 2 under 2 twice. I loved it (so far) both times.

Approx 14 months between my three. Totally not planned. I blame tiredness Grin 2nd was a few days early and super fast delivery. Breastfed well until he started biting at around 8months. 3rd was prem at 31 weeks. She had to have high cal formula as she was a sleepy thing that needed waking for feeds in the night.

Ds1 was 7 months old when I fell pregnant with ds2. I honestly don't remember much of the pregnancy with ds2 due to me being so busy with DS1. Labour was pretty identical to ds1 but the amount of time pushing was almost halved. They're 10 and 8 now and they're literally the best of friends, lovely having them both close in age.

I got pregnant with DS2 when DS1 was almost 7 months. The pregnancy was fine, no complications at all, and the birth was quicker and easier.

Much easier - Labour with DCs 2&3 was very easy compared to DC1

DS1 was 6m when we became pregnant with DS2: this pregnancy has been HARD.

The running around, constant on the go from 6:15am to 6:30pm is utterly exhausting. DS1 is 15m now and is in absolute tornado mode so really can’t sit still for a minute.

I’m anaemic. My ‘fanny daggers’ are so intense I can barely walk sometimes. My hips ache. I have SPD/PGP (get different advice every time I tell them my symptoms).

It’s not been great on my body and I can’t wait to give it a rest after labour. Not sure about birth because that hasn’t happened yet, I’m due Sunday 💪🏽

Oo also we will have 2 in nursery for 14 months 😬 so yeah that’s over £13k before the 30 hours free starts.

I’m 24 weeks pregnant and they’ll be about 14 months between my boys when the next is born. I’ve found I don’t have as much time to think about the pregnancy so it’s been easier, no time to worry as you have your hands full with your other baby! Can’t comment on the birth yet but I can update you once it’s happened 😁
