How long after you lost your mucus plug did you go into labour?

I’m 37+3 and just lost quite a bit of mine… Wouldn’t normally concern me but I’m scheduled for a c-section in 10 days! Will I hold out?!

Second baby but was induced with my first so have no experience of this.

Lost mucus plug on the Friday morning, was heading to the hospital in labour on the Saturday morning. Its different for everyone though so try not to worry too much.

Lost mine weeks before waters broke

I lost mine at 39+0

Am now 40+4 and no sign of anything happening. Cervix is still posterior, closed blah blah. (Can you tell I’m fed up?! 😀)

Lost mucous plug at 38 weeks. Was induced at 41 weeks

Exactly two weeks before DS1 was born

Lost it at midday, waters broke spectacularly at 7pm.

About as much of a science as the rest of childbirth, then?! OK, I’ll stop expecting to go into labour imminently (but might put a waterproof sheet on the bed tonight!)

I lost mine at 28 weeks - am now 37. They can grow back. So unless a bloody show it’s no guarantee labour is going to happen any time soon.

First time round baby was born a week later after long slow stop start labour

For no 2 it was about 2 days later, no 3 less than 24 hours

I lost mine last week at 30 weeks and so far no baby 😅 I was told that it can grow back and when they checked my cervix is was still high and closed.
