Peeing in the night

I'm 12.5 weeks, and at 1.45am I have already got up to pee 5 times since going to bed at 10.15. When I do go it's often a fairly small amount. I'm so frustrated and exhausted! I'm peeing a little more in the day but not excessively and not an abnormal amount. I can't remember whether I had this with my previous pregnancy.

I don't think I am drinking excessively, though I am definitely drinking more (almost exclusively fizzy water with 1-2 teas / coffees in the morning). I'm trying not to but most nights I'm drinking a glass of water through the night too.

Is this normal? I'm worried about GD as my bmi is 29 but it's pretty early still and there is no glucose in my pee. Pretty sure I don't have a UTI.

Is this just another pregnancy delight?

I think fairly normal but you could always ask for your urine to be dipped if you are worried. From memory there is a bit between 12-16 weeks where baby puts quite a bit of pressure on the bladder, just before it really pops out above the pelvis. I was treated for a uti at that point but the cultures were clear. GP said most likely just really bad discomfort from bladder being squashed.
