Just wanted to start a thread about having covid during pregnancy. I know there is problem already one. But here we are.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I've had symptoms since Wednesday and I'm struggling. Just need people who are going through this just now to talk to and help each other through it. I can't believe how awful it is, I have been crying alot today because I just can't take it anymore!

Oh I really feel for you OP! Do seek medical attention if you have shortness of breath or chest pain. Had you managed to have a covid jab or 2?
Sending get well soon vibes your way!

I feel you. I’m 37 weeks and had symptoms from last Tuesday. Currently have a cough and no taste / smell. I don’t feel awful..but I’m not ok either.
Mentally I’m finding it hard as baby is breech and we’re now having to delay the scan we needed on Wednesday. First baby came early so I’m worried she’ll come when I’m poorly and husband is isolating so he cannot even be there if she does decide to make an early arrival…
My son starts school this week and we’re not even able to be there to take him :(.
Generally feeling very fed up!
How are you feeling? Are your symptoms worsening? Hope you are feeling much better soon x

@Blxo94 just thought I’d check in and see how you’re doing?
I feel worse today than I have at any point so far :(. Feels like I’ve been hit by a train…day 8 now. Feels like it is going to last forever.

Hi guys!

Sorry about posting and disappearing. I just wasn't great at all! But starting to finally perk up now and feel human again.

@Almostcooked2021 oh no really! Day 4/5 was my worst. I genuinely thought I was going to die. This isn't a joke is it... You don't realise how crap it is until you get it! Wish I was asymptomatic haha! My little one has still dodged having it which I'm so thankful for because he's back at school which those few hours I'm needing to just rest! Hope you feel better tomorrow. They do say it comes in waves. You feel better then you feel rubbish again! I have no taste of smell at all either. Not fun when pregnant and have cravings! Keep me updated on how your doing now I'm able to function again ha x

@southwestSis yes. I have managed to get 1 dose of the vaccine. Was due to get my other dose tomorrow but of course have had to cancel that. Now need to wait until October some time until I receive my second dose. Which is rubbish! But hopefully some antibodies stick around after catching it and gives me that protection until then!x

@Blxo94 so glad you are feeling a bit better now..it does feel like it is going to last forever doesn’t it.
My son had his first morning at school today as he came out of isolation yesterday. I went straight back to bed for a couple of hours!
