Period after C section.

Hello,

2 months ago, I had an emergency c section at 25 weeks due to Pre Eclampsia which turned into eclampsia.

Unfortunately our little boy didn’t make it.

I’m worried my period hasn’t returned yet.. when should it come?
I’m not pregnant.. I’ve done tests.

So sorry for your loss and awful experience.
I think periods can take a few months to come back after being pregnant so probably normal at this stage not to have had one unfortunately

So sorry for your loss. I don’t know if it makes any difference with the pregnancy not being full term but I recently had an EMCS and I didn’t get a period until 10 weeks pp. it can vary quite a bit x

Sorry for your loss OP.

I was about four months pp before I had my period after both my DC. Both were csections.
