I’m brand new here! I have children and my youngest is 3, I usually get pregnant fairly easily, I had a coil a fitted 3 years ago after the birth of my last child, it fell out not to long ago and I went onto the pill…… Iv been on the pill 5 weeks and I’m taking my second packet straight away as we are going on holiday and I would have been due my period during the holiday, Iv had some spotting the last few days, I dreamt last week I was pregnant and waiting for a scan to confirm my dates. I ignored the dream and last night I dreamt of taking a pregnancy test and it being positive, I woke up this morning and my Facebook is full of pregnancy announcements, so I had a test in my drawer so decided I’d just take it and omg it has the faintest of faint pink lines that I seen come up within 1 minuet! As the times went on the line went slightly darker but it’s barely there like you have to squint to see it but I see it!!! Could it be a faulty test? It’s a first response early rapid result! Has anyone had this on one of those and not been pregnant? Could I really be pregnant on the pill?

Yes you can fall pregnant on the pill, if immediately stop taking the pill and buy some more tests

False positives are rare but it could be an evap line. Buy a first response and do it tomorrow morning. I hope you get the result you would like.

Woah that is freaky (the dream part)!!! Leave it a few days, do another test and update us please!!!

I did a pregnancy test after dreaming for a couple of days in a row that I was pregnant or getting positive pregnancy tests and my intuition was correct- I tested and got a BFP!

I’d be happy if I was to be pregnant but of course If im not I’ll stay on my pill. I do feel a little crampy, the way I get when im early pregnant. Im going to buy another test and take it later or in the morning. I just feel I can’t be I haven’t even been late with one pill but these dreams Iv had felt so real and it did happen with one of my other children where I dreamt of being in a car crash and the ambulance came and took me in the back of the ambulance and they took a car seat out of my car with a baby in covered with a blue blanket and then the baby shrank behind the blanket and vanished and the paramedic told me the baby was mine and I said no it’s not I don’t have a baby she said you do, and she pulled the blanket off the car seat and the baby was gone and she pointed to tummy and said he’s in there where he’s safe. I woke up in a sweat and panicked, but sure enough I was pregnant and it turned out to be a baby boy. I don’t know why I had dreamt that but it was such a strange dream and so was last nights dream. Im sat here stressing about it wondering how or if I even am.

It does sound a bit like you might be. No point stressing until you know. Keep an open mind so that you are not disappointed though.

I dreamt about both of my pregnancies the day before I found out. I think your body knows before you do and sometimes it lets your subconscious know. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It does I do believe your body knows. I’m having my cup of tea then going up to the pharmacy. Still a little mildly crampy, been thinking I don’t actually feel pregnant, I can’t smell things stronger than usually and things don’t taste off like they usually do in my early pregnancies.

I had different “symptoms” for my pregnancies.

Iv taken two more tests this morning a first response and a clear blue, the clear clue had a super super faint line but I have heard bad things about blue dye tests which I had forgot about until after I took it. The first response was just the same with the faintest of faint lines. I assumed if I was pregnant the line would be a lot darker today but it wasn’t. Can the pill cause a false positive?

The line may take a few days to progress, I was still getting faint lines at 5+2.

They say if test is negative, wait 3 days until the next test. You should also use first urine of the morning, as is more concentrated.

I'd say 3 very faint positives is a positive, especially on different brands of test. Wait a couple of days and re-test to give yourself a bit more certainty, if you are still unsure
