Do I need to be worried? Bowel movement changes

Hi,
I've just started my second trimester and throughout my first trimester I was very constipated but all of a sudden I have very lose bowel daily. It's most noticeable first thing in the morning when I wake up and for a few hours after, then it seems to calm down a little but had anyone else had simple symptoms?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yup, I’m the same but in my case the looseness started at the beginning of the third trimester. Provided you’re sure it’s not a stomach bug and you’re able to stay well hydrated I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I think we all just react to pregnancy hormones in different ways!

It’s often due to bowel muscles relaxing because of the hormone relaxin. Usually nothing to worry about at all, just make sure you’re keeping hydrated and eating little and often x

I only wrote a post about this recently.
I'm 18+3 and I've had the exact same for the last 3 weeks.
Felt so horribly constipated up until the second trimester and then bam it's really loose and uncomfortable every morning without fail. I get awful cramps and have to go every morning. It's horrible.
I was reassured this is normal.. I suppose just yet another 'side effect' that's not really well known

Hi all, I know this post is old. But I'm thr exact same. Currently 16 weeks pregnant and for the last 4-5 days I have had loose stool every morning when I wake up. I've also noticed for past 2 nights I'm not waking up for a wee in the night. I wouldn't say I have had frequent urination. I did have a private scan Sunday which was 6 days ago and everything was perfect. Got midwife appt today so will mention it but worried at moment it's not normal.
